I am trying not to just walk through life not understanding and learning about the subtleties that bring a unique quality to life - and recently, via my site, I began on my coffee journey. After reading your article on Kenyan Coffee, I have requested from one of my colleagues at work to purchase some Kenyan coffee when she returns to her native Kenya next month. Once I have tasted the coffee per instructions, I will come back and give you my thoughts.....

Thanks! Your site brings a certain artistry to the daily dance of coffee drinking!

I'm glad to hear that you didn't think it was as commerical as you thought it was going to be. I like to hear of traveling experiences to wild (supposedly) destinations to hear that they are still, indeed, wild. I love the Kenyan coffee, almost as good as the Jamaican Blue Mountain, but not quite. I found a good source for good coffees at a site called KMOcoffee.com I still, as a dare, which I am refusing to do, is have the little monkey poop coffee. That's just not my bag...sorry.

Kenneth,

While I'm not an expert like you (no false modesty -- please: You've studied the subject and devoted lots of time to reviewing individual coffees, making you far more of an expert than me), I've always loved Kenyan coffee.

Thanks for teaching me some of the reasons why this is so.

It was great finding your site and reading your reviews of some of the major brands.

Usually, I buy ground beans at my local grocery store, but I thought I'd try Maxwell House due to a sale. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, and after reading one of your reviews I see why. They seem to do a better than average job for such a mass-produced coffee.

I've bookmarked your site and will read it again -- for pleasure! What other reason is there?

Pleasure reading, and pleasure drinking.
